Artist Statement 

David comes from a long line of woodworkers and is a fifth generation artisan. Beginning in 1847, his great great grandfather and son were wheelwrights specializing in custom carriages and buggies. At the age of twelve, he started working in his Grandfather’s shop making Windsor chairs and church furniture including architectural millwork. This rich heritage continues with David using a combination of seamless raw joinery and artistic mastery to create beautiful handcrafted heirloom quality furniture.
